If you like to have a beer from time to time, keep your money at home if you are going to do your drinking in a casino. I’m serious. Empty your purse, your billfold, and leave all cash, credit cards and chequebooks out of the casino. Pack whatever cash you anticipate to spend on drinks, tips and only the pocket change you intend to burn and leave the rest behind.
Contemptuous? Not by any means. Just realistic. You may well have a profit following a boozy night out with your friends and be lucky sufficiently to hook a long toss at a on fire craps game. Don’t forget that story because it is as short-lived as it gets if you regularly consume alcohol and wager. These activities simply do not mix.
Keeping your cash back at the hotel might be a little bit drastic, but preventative actions for drastic actions is a requirement. If you wager to win, then do not drink alcohol and play. If you can afford to be wasteful with your money without a worry, then drink all the free beer you can handle, but do not carry plastic credit and checkbooks to throw into the mix of going after squanderings after your drunken head throws away all the cash!
Allow me to carry this 1 step more. do not consume alcohol and then hop on the internet to wager in your best-liked casino either. I love to beverage from the comfort of my condominium, but because I’m connected through Neteller, Firepay and have charge cards near by, I can’t consume alcohol and gamble.
How come? Even though I don’t drink a lot, once I drink, it’s clearly sufficient to cloud my common sense. I gamble, so I do not drink alcohol when wagering. If you are a drinker, don’t bet when you do. Both make for a ferocious, and expensive, drink.
